Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use the Learn2Trade Terminal at https://terminal.learn2.trade (the "Terminal").

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Learn 2 Trade. Contact support@learn2.trade. You can email that address about your personal data, and you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

2. What we collect

We do not collect or store your full card number (Stripe handles card details), and we do not collect brokerage usernames, passwords or 2FA codes.

3. Our legal bases (UK GDPR)

Contract: running your account, trial, subscription or VIP access.
Legitimate interests: security, fraud and abuse prevention, service improvement and limited service messages. We balance these against your rights.
Legal obligation: keeping billing and tax records.

The Terminal does not send marketing emails. We send account and service emails only.

4. Who processes data for us

We use these service providers. They process data on our instructions:

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process personal data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep data

Account and workspace data: while your account is open, then deleted within 90 days of closure.
Billing records: kept for 6 years for tax and accounting purposes. Stripe also keeps its own records.
Usage and security logs: up to 12 months.
Support messages: up to 24 months.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

access your personal data;
correct inaccurate data;
have your data deleted;
restrict or object to processing, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing;
data portability;
withdraw consent where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, email support@learn2.trade. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.

8. Cookies

The Terminal uses an essential sign-in cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. A consent banner is not required for these essential cookies.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and signed payment notifications. No system is completely secure. Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think your account has been compromised.

10. Children

The Terminal is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and email you about material changes.
